I ’ve been so eager to share another garden makeover , but wanted to expect on this one until it was just right . Best part , this Shade Garden Makeover comes with a Fire Pit field . Just a little background on our synthetic heroin upper yard . We move into our current fixer upper home in August of 2016 . So this is just our second full summer fixing up different areas of the yard .

Below is what this arena looked like when we moved in . decidedly not as hideous as some of the other areas in the yard , so it was bumped down a little on the anteriority list . We did like the flame pit area , but I just had a unlike vision for it . I can see this surface area from my kitchen window and I did n’t really like what I saw and dreamed of what it could be .

A few weeks after we moved in , I did set off the process of kill off the grass and grass by repose down composition board and layer it with grass and leaf clippings . Also later in the summertime and decline , I plopped in some hostas that I had rescue from full sunshine area in the yard . The undermentioned spring , more hostas were added .
I then moved on to other projects and disregard this surface area all last summer . I ca n’t believe I ’m establish the next pictures , but I ’m maintain it existent and this is one of those projects that lead from count okay to looking pretty bad before it puzzle better .
Another angle of the wickedness . I feel sorry for all those neglected hostas .

Drum scroll … here is the finished Shade Garden Makeover . I really could n’t be happier with the path it turned out . It ’s a peaceful , serene area , where we can take a shift in the shade from our garden chores . Plus , we ’re await ahead to many balefire with family and friends here .
