Thought I ’d institutionalise some photos from before some of my annual bit the dust when temperature reached O ° C ( 32 ° degree Fahrenheit ) this week . I did n’t look this early dip in temperature , so I was madly work in as many tender plant life as I could before sundown . Of course , when my husband come home , he declare , “ Clearly , you have WAY TOO MANY plants ! ”
My summertime garden exploded with many container gardens — mainly flux ofsucculents , annual , perennials , and humble shrub . flame nettle and succulent remain favorites .

There are so many beautiful succulents that ca n’t suffer a rime . Luckily , they can easily be overwinter indoors if kept dry and given as much light as possible .

The unbelievable succulentAeoniumtabuliforme . It hails from the Canary Islands and ca n’t tolerate freezing atmospheric condition , but it is well deserving an extra effort to overwinter it indoors .

This beautiful container features flame nettle front and substance , with chickenhearted creep Jenny ( Lysimachianummularia‘Aurea ’ , Zones 5–9 ) drip down to a lower place .
