There ’s nothing better than a backyard garden full of fragrant edible plants . Now that it ’s harvest time of year , I ’ve been search ways to use them . I mainly utilize fresh herb in cooking . Last year I made up a slew of yummyoregano pesto . I also made my ownherbal vinegar , and of line   I made this gorgeous culinary herb wreath .

Herbs to Choose

you could habituate a wide variety of herb stem , flower , and leave to make your wreath . I found it ’s good to use woody - stemmed herb ( like rosemary , sage , and thyme ) because they tend to hold their shape once dry . And do n’t forget to add a hint of color by using herbal flush such aslavenderor finocchio blossoms !

tuck your supplies and select an herb to become the home of your wreath . I chose rosemary . Using twist ties and/or floral wire , begin covering your wreath base . Be patient with this procedure . It take me longer to do this than I had originally anticipate .

Once you have an herb foot covering your frame , you could begin build off of it . There are a few different technique I seek . I selected 2 - 3 unlike herbs and created modest bunches using rubber bands . Then I add together each clump to the wreath , using floral telegram to secure it . The other method acting I tried was simply poking individual sprigs into the wreath and secure them again with flowered wire .
