Yet on Saturday , we got WAY MORE than our day-after-day bread , as our admirer James was able to get an entire dump preview full of just - expired loaf of bread from a distributer .
A lot of this staff of life I would n’t consider factual food , as it ’s white flour with preservatives , etc . , and we do n’t eat much , if any , of that kind of lettuce . Some of it , however , was high - lineament organic loaf of clams and bagels . Those we saved in the freezer , and many we bestow to church building on Sunday morning to give away . We also tempt over acquaintance and neighbor to help themselves .
But what do we do with all the rest ?
I have a supporter with pig bed who I hope will come and get some today , and we ’ve also been spreading out a bunch of bread in the sun to dry so we can put it in bag to pull through as crybaby and hog provender . If we can dry it enough to stave in off mold , it should work . We ’ve also been put some in a full-grown , young mealworm bin on the porch , which we ’re croak to colonise from our existing tubful of mealworms . These will be succeeding chicken provender .
The pigs have deplete clams until they are full , which seldom happens with copper .
As for the many loaf which we ca n’t desiccate , feed , or give away fast enough ?
Well , that ’s what compost is for . I design to layer them with other materials in a immense heap and get some garden plant food out of all this bakery waste . I ’ll wager we can make an awesome compost pile .
It ’s incredible how much food gets thrown aside in this land . The police and the enforcement of them have really messed up our ability to just give away the excess . If you desire to avoid a possible causa , it ’s now safer to just project choke bread away .
The mad thing about this is that my admirer say he could get another trailer - encumbrance of shekels every individual Saturday . Holy moly . We already have two full freezers and there ’s still a gargantuan mountain in the carport ! I ca n’t imagine have another load show up every week !
