My hens are n’t set right now , but when they do , they get serious about it .
I wantedchickensmy whole life , and when I in the end got them , I was so mad about get sweet testicle . I think the fourth dimension one of my new hens set her first . I picked it up , raced into the house and come alive my husband up .
“ Look ! ” I say . “ Look ! ” I was so overwhelmed with joy that , I could scarcely say anything else .
Now , here I am three years later , and seeing eggs in my nest boxes is still exhilarating — which is why I ’m so bummed that I have n’t aim one egg out of my chickens for the past three calendar month .
What is going on ? I started to worry they were disgusted . I did lose one of the hens a few weeks ago , but the others seem perfectly fine . They are use up , running around and doing all the thing they unremarkably do .
I complained to a booster in the neighborhood about the situation , and she told me that her hens aren’tlayingeither . It ’s been calendar month . I ’ve since heard other citizenry in town are having the same issue .
Why have all our razz suddenly stopped set ? Is it the weather ? This means I go from turn over to fetch their them egg from the chicken coop to crawl around on my stomach to hunting for obscure ones eggs .
One of the most exasperating thing about this current egg tap is that people in my life have come to expect testicle from me , and they just are n’t getting any . When I tell them my hens are n’t laying , they await at me skeptically , as if I ’m carry out on them .
