Transforming a boring bit of yard

My name is DeBorrah Tibbs . I live in the live Georgia Peach state in Smyrna . horticulture is my passion and is ever alter . I have gardened most of my life , growing up in a small town forebode Andover , Ohio , while inhabit on a farm growing livelihood . As I got out on my own , flowersandshrubsbecame my independent focus and rage . What I ’d wish to share is my before and aftergarden shift . I took a bland backyard to what I now call my garden sanctuary . This has been a six - and - a - half - year journeying that I consider inspired me to take off my own YouTube channel , Inspiring Garden Korner , in December 2022 .

Here ’s the blank as it looked before , just as workplace was started making the novel garden . Not much to get excited about yet !

It took a   lot of work getting everything leveled and quick for build and planting .

Sometimes things have to get slimy before they get pretty , but plants incontainersand a few in the ground are already constitute it feel like a garden even as the construction mental process continues .

The project is all finished and planted up . Plantings include ‘ Double Knockout ’ roses(Rosa‘Double KO ’ , Zones 5–9 ) , woodland phlox(Phloxdivaricata , Zones 3–8 ) , ‘ piffling Limelight ’ hydrangea(Hydrangea paniculata‘Little Limelight ’ , Zones 3–8 ) , and jasmine(Jasminumofficinale , Zones 7–10 ) in a heyday box , which did n’t survive a freeze eruption we had .

These   dianthus(Dianthushybrids , Zones 5–9 ) are blooming their heads off .

We stained our fencing in slate to make everything pop , and I think that is accomplish .
