Coral beans are a common Florida wildflower .
On the edge of our homestead here in the tropical zone , I ’ve chance on its big buddy the coral Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree :
The people of colour looks somewhat like that of a poinciana Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree , but the growth habigt and leaves are quite different . This tree diagram is probably 60 - 80′ tall .
I could tell it was a full cousin of coral beans by the bloom and the leaf shape . Once I started hunting downErythrinaspecies , it was easy to notice multiple large hobo camp tree diagram that fit the flier . Though I ’m not 100 % certain , I conceive this is the wild variation ofErythrina variegata .
When we first move here last give , I regain little purple - brown attic all over the ground that looked like a cultivate bean variety … yet there were n’t any bean plant growing nearby . Now I know they were return from far above .
