Today ’s photo are from Carol Doersom in Texas . She says,“I look forth to this day-after-day email and seeing all these garden . I finally got out to take some pic of my own . Because of the plant I ’ve selected thing seem to seem good in the free fall than any other time of year .

“ During the preceding twelve yr , the small passel I live on has evolve from sharpness - to - boundary St. Augustine grass to mostly flower beds . I started with a plan , but have n’t follow it very closely . It ’s more sport just stuffing things in wherever there ’s way . I move flora around a peck , too , until either they ’re happy or they conk . Planting bed have been added as chinch bugs and drought kill off areas of grass . My big project this class was lay stones to make a terrace on one side of the front grand .

“ I use mostly aborigine and drought kind plant . ‘ land Girl ’ chrysanthemum , violet aster , Salvia leucantha , and black lead are the stand - out this metre of year . . . with coral vine scampering over everything it can reach . I do n’t have much luck growing food , but did corrupt a ‘ Carnavale ’ apple of late that I ’m espaliering on the back fence . A fig tree has just replaced a persimmon that did n’t make it through the summertime . ”
